For export-ready medical-cannabis suppliers
Before taking your product to market, establish whether it fits.
We screen product, price and documentation against actual regulated-buyer requirements. If the fit is credible, we offer a defined Buyer Fit Sprint to prepare the product, test buyer interest and identify the next commercial step.
Request a free Supplier Fit ScreenA written commercial assessment. No charge. No promise of a buyer or sale.
Who this is for
Licensed producers, manufacturers and authorized product owners with identifiable product lots, realistic commercial terms and documents that support their claims.
You should be able to identify what is available, what is already allocated, who can authorize a transaction and which export or release pathways you can support. An EU-GMP claim must identify the relevant facility and scope. Where further processing or release is required, explain the proposed pathway.
Start with your strongest product. A large catalog is not necessary.
How the free Supplier Fit Screen works
Submit the essentials. Provide your company details, strongest available product, price basis, quantity and supporting documents. You can mark information as pending.
Receive a clear assessment. We review commercial fit, documentation and pricing. Our target is a written response within two business days of receiving a complete screen submission. If information is missing, we ask for it in one consolidated request.
Choose the next step. We will tell you whether the product qualifies for a sprint, needs more information or is not currently marketable through our network, together with the principal reasons.
The screen is a preliminary commercial assessment. It does not certify regulatory compliance or commit either party to an engagement.
What we evaluate
- Product specifications, batch evidence and quality consistency.
- Price, currency, Incoterm, minimum order and quantity available.
- Current documents, testing and the intended export and release pathway.
- Packaging, irradiation status and buyer-specific requirements.
- Match with current purchasing requirements and realistic timing.
- Your authority to offer the product and maintain accurate availability.
If the product qualifies
We identify the products and market focus we believe justify further work. You receive a written sprint scope, fee terms and proposed start date. You decide whether to proceed. A qualified screen does not mean a buyer has selected your product.
The Buyer Fit Sprint
USD $2,500 upfront · 10 business days · Up to three agreed product lots · One primary destination market
The sprint begins on the agreed start date after payment, signed terms and the agreed minimum materials are received. We confirm the start and finish dates in writing.
The work has a clear endpoint: a prepared commercial product pack, a record of buyer testing and a written recommendation on whether to pursue, reposition, reprice or withdraw the products for now.
What the fee includes
- Commercial-readiness review and a prioritized document-gap list.
- Organization of the supplied product documents and one review round with you.
- Clean, coded product briefs suitable for controlled buyer review.
- Pricing and positioning analysis against relevant purchasing requirements.
- Inclusion of suitable, approved products in our controlled confidential portfolio during the sprint.
- Targeted product testing with qualified buyer organizations selected for fit.
- Consolidated feedback, specific objections and a record of nonresponses.
- Facilitation of introductions where genuine product interest and the required protections exist.
- A final written market-response summary and one written clarification round requested within five business days of delivery.
The written scope identifies the buyer-testing effort we commit to perform. Buyer replies, introductions and orders remain the buyer's decision.
What the fee does not include
The sprint does not include a buyer list, unrestricted buyer access, guaranteed introductions or sales, regulatory certification, legal advice, license applications, laboratory testing, samples, freight, customs, import, manufacturing or product release. Third-party costs and any additional project scope require separate written agreement.
How the success-fee credit works
Our standard success fee is 5% of qualifying product value through buyer relationships we originate, including qualifying repeat orders under the agreement.
Your full USD $2,500 sprint fee is credited against those success fees, starting with the first qualifying transaction. If the first success fee is USD $5,000, the USD $2,500 credit leaves USD $2,500 payable. If the first success fee is USD $1,000, no additional fee is due on that transaction and USD $1,500 of credit remains for later qualifying success fees.
The credit does not reduce the 5% rate, expire merely because the sprint ends or create a cash refund if no transaction occurs. A service-fee refund reduces the credit attributable to that payment. Previously applied credit is reconciled under the agreement so the same amount is not both refunded and credited. The agreement defines the transaction value, credit and payment mechanics.
Who should not apply
This process is not suitable if you cannot establish your authority to offer the product, cannot provide credible license or quality evidence, will not state a commercial price, have no available or credible upcoming supply, or expect guaranteed orders in return for a fee.
If the product still requires an undefined regulatory or processing pathway, resolve that gap before paying for buyer testing. Intermediaries without documented authority should not submit product as their own.
Frequently asked questions
Is the screen really free?
Yes. You receive a concise written assessment and the main obstacles. There is no requirement to buy a sprint.
Why might you decline my product?
It may not fit current requirements, pricing may not be competitive on a comparable basis, documents may be insufficient, or the destination pathway may not be credible. We state the main reason and what would need to change.
Does qualifying mean you have a buyer ready to purchase?
No. It means there is a credible basis for testing the product. A purchasing commitment exists only when a buyer makes one.
What happens if nobody is interested?
You still receive the prepared materials, documented testing, any objections received and a recommendation. We distinguish a buyer's rejection from silence. We do not describe nonresponses as proof that the market has rejected your product.
Will you guarantee introductions or a sale?
No. We commit to the defined work. Introductions depend on genuine product-level interest, consent and the required protections.
Can I see your buyer list?
Payment does not buy a contact list. We agree the market and buyer profile to test. Identities are disclosed selectively where there is a legitimate reason to introduce the parties.
Will buyers see my company name or documents immediately?
No. Initial testing uses approved coded summaries. Named disclosure and full documents require the agreed permissions, buyer checks and fee protection. We explain any limit on testing caused by your disclosure restrictions before you pay.
Do I need finished EU-GMP product?
Requirements depend on the destination, product and proposed route. We distinguish cultivation standards from manufacturing and release requirements. An unsupported future pathway will not qualify for paid buyer testing.
Are buyers charged?
No fee is charged to buyers for submitting requirements, reviewing products or participating in sourcing discussions. Supplier payment does not buy recommendation priority.
Why is there also a success fee?
The sprint pays for a defined body of commercial work. The 5% fee compensates Provenance for business generated through originated buyer relationships. The sprint credit prevents that amount being charged again as a success fee.
What are the cancellation terms?
Before work starts, the service fee is refundable in full. Once work starts, completed work is charged according to the milestone allocation in the offer and unearned amounts are refundable. A lack of buyer interest does not create a refund entitlement where the agreed work has been delivered. Full terms are provided before payment.
Do existing Provenance suppliers have to pay?
No. Existing supplier arrangements remain in force. A separately requested project outside an existing agreement may be quoted separately with both parties' agreement.
